We are so proud of our Ag teacher, Mr. Wyatt Capps! On Thursday, February 15th, Mr. Capps was awarded the 2023 Conservation Teacher of the Year by the Marion County Soil & Water Conservation District. This award is presented to teachers who have dedicated their curriculum to conservation education in Marion County.
You are invited! This year's Soaring Eagle Academic Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, at 1:00 PM in the gym! We will be celebrating Pre-K - 11th grade students by giving out academic awards in a full school assembly.
Please help us celebrate our Seniors! Save the date for the Senior Banquet on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6 PM in the cafeteria.
Reminder: there will be no student attendance tomorrow, February 16th due to a teacher institute. There is also no school on Monday February 19th in observance of President's Day. Everyone enjoy your long weekend!
We want to begin sharing more information about our Hall of Fame inductees! Today, we will share more about one of the Athlete Inductees, Mallorie (Love) Maceachern.
Mallorie's senior year, 2009, was an amazing one for the softball team in our school history. The team record was 22-7, which broke the school record for most wins in a season. During this season, she pitched 188 innings with 316 strikeouts, only 19 walks, 11 shutouts, 4 no-hitters, 2 perfect games, and a .71 ERA.

Congratulations to the top 12 spellers at Odin School grades 3-8. Our top speller this year was Wyatt Edwards. Runner up was Carter Dagg followed by Brady Haines. We had so much fun Thursday! Wyatt and Carter will compete for the championship through the ROE.

So proud of our KC Welders Heydin Purcell and Jacob Schroeder for obtaining some certifications! Heydin received Vertical MIG, Stick Overhead, and Stick Vertical. Jacob received Vertical MIG.

FAFSA night is tomorrow, Monday, February 5th at 6 pm in the cafeteria! Please bring your 2022 taxes and make sure you have created a FSA ID on the attached website. Students created their FSA ID at school last week.

Congrats to the junior high scholar bowl team for placing third in the OBC tournament yesterday. Brady Haines and Carter Dagg were named to the all tournament team, great work!
