Directly after school tomorrow (2:05) there will be a basketball meeting in the gym for any junior high boy interested in playing basketball for the 2024-2025 season.

Mrs. Brooks 4th Grade learned about solar power, energy, and heat in science. They made solar ovens to bake their s'mores treat.




Yesterday, high school students participated in a mental health activity.
This day would not have been possible without the sponsorship of the Bend Don't Break Grant from the Illinois Foundation FFA, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and Farm Family Resource Initiative SIU School of Medicine Center for Rural Health and Social Service Development.
Thank you to Whitney Murray for speaking with students on meditation and useful coping skills for them to utilize. Thank you to the Community Resource Center for coming to present to students on the services that they offer regarding mental health. Students were able to make calm down jars that can be utilized when feeling stressed. We were able to purchase fidget toys for high school students to utilize during exams coming up!
