Congratulations to Hailey Knox for placing 5th at the District V JV Job Interview LDE on November 10 at SIU-C! Hailey competed against 14 other FFA members across southern Illinois through a job application, a personal interview, a follow up letter, resume, and cover letter. Congratulations, Hailey!!

Tonight, 10 Greenhand FFA members attended the Section 21 Leadership Training School at Sesser-Valier High School. At the event members learned about team building, communication, and social skills. Also members listened a keynote address by Illinois FFA State Vice President, Jaton Shaffer about how to pay it forward. Members had a blast! #section21ffa #initiateffa

Monday, November 8, 8th Grade, Freshman, and Sophomore FFA members had the opportunity to listen and learn from Illinois FFA State Vice President, Jaton Shaffer; Section 21 FFA President, Derek Sample; Section 21 FFA Vice President, Halle Klockenga; and Section 21 FFA Secretary, Tori Shaw during the Illinois FFA Chapter Visits. Students leaned about teamwork and their own core values.

Students who are on remote learning due to contact tracing are to check in for attendance through TeacherEase by 8:30am. Remote students who are in grades 5-12 should be joining Google Meets at the beginning of each class period. If your student needs supplies (Chromebook, books, hotspot, etc), please contact the school as soon as possible to make arrangements to pick these items up.
