Congrats to all spelling bee contestants who competed today! Carter Dagg was our champion for the second year in a row. Wyatt Edwards was our runner up and they will both be representing our school on February 21st at Centralia High School for the next round for the title of best speller in the county.

Our third grade classroom cafe is ready for an awesome STARBOOKS day! The kids will be sampling books as they sit back and sample some snacks and hot chocolate. Mrs. Frederick's classroom smells amazing!
Today for our library time, JH students had a “blind date with a book." Sixty books were wrapped and labeled with reading level, genre, and what the book was about. Students selected their book based on that information as part of our weekly checkout. With their selection, students promised to give the book at least one week to see if they were a “match”.
