Attention, adventurers! Our Book Blast event starts next week where we will set off in search of treasure to build our students' home libraries. Follow the steps on the Treasure Map coming home next week to embark on a jungle quest to earn exciting prizes and books.

Good afternoon, we had some students concerned today regarding a threat that was made in what ended up being in Kentucky (another Marion County). Students made the administration aware and the information was investigated and found to be non-threatening. Thank you to the students for sharing their concern and as always we will do our very best to keep our students safe.

Parents/Guardians our district has began to use the Rooms feature on our Odin Eagle app. This is a great way to stay on top of announcements, assignments, and direct message with your students' teachers. You should have received a text message or email from Thrillshare edurooms. This will have a code that will link you to all of your students. We want to congratulate Jalynn Moore on passing her state cosmetology licensure test today! Jalynn is the first student to fulfill the requirements through Southern Illinois School of Cosmetology in partnership with our school. We are so proud of you!
Congrats to the cross country runners today for their performance! Braxton placed 34th with a time of 11:30.6 & Claire placed 37th with a time of 11:52.2. Carter was 20th place. Keep it up!
