We are hosting a Blood Drive on October 29, 2024 in the gym from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. They will be passing out FREE T-Shirts! When you give, it gets us one step closer to our goal for our seniors on obtaining a scholarship! With the most recent events of Hurricane Helene, Red Cross needs your help!


Because we love out seniors, today's "Señor" is Sophie Josephine Frieman. She is the daughter of Stacey and Grant Arnold and Spencer Frieman. Her favorite memory from high school is getting to know Mrs. Janic and Ms. Abby.

One thing Sophie would do to change the world is lowering gas prices. Sophie hopes to be a cosmetologist after she graduates!

Yesterday Mr. Barbee took Drew Haines, Easton Johnson, and Mason Corry to Senator Plummer's Youth Advisory meeting!

Congratulations to Carter Dagg and Claire Bivens for successfully achieving their time goals and setting personal records at the Kaskaskia College Cross Country meet. We take great pride in their accomplishments this season and extend our best wishes for their success at the upcoming regionals.

I want to extend congratulations to both our junior high softball and baseball teams for outstanding seasons this year. Both teams ended the season with winning records this year. They each played hard and represented our school well.

The HS baseball game at Effingham St Anthony is canceled for today.

JH Boys Basketball will start practicing on Tuesday, October 1st from 6pm-8pm.

Mental Health Information! There will be an informational meeting from 5:30 - 6 in the big gym for parents! Our school is partnering with Maro to bring a mental health program to our school and we want to give you more information! This program is for 2nd - 12th grades so please join us for a brief meeting before the concert!


We will have a sign up sheet for the fan bus headed to Patoka tomorrow located in the main office. Thank you

We will be running a fan/student bus on Monday to attend the Regional Championship for the junior high boys team. The bus will leave at 4:00 and from the front of the school and return back to Odin after the game. Any student 6th grade and up will be allowed to attend without an adult chaperone.
