Parents of JH and HS students: If you have not yet scheduled your parent/teacher conference and would like to do so, please contact Mrs. Haarmann at thaarmann@odinpublicschools.org or 618-775-8266. She will help you select an open time slot. Appointments are available on Thursday 11/4 from 12:30-7:30 p.m. and on Friday 11/5 from 8:00-11:30 a.m. Thank you!

Students who are on remote learning due to contact tracing are to check in for attendance through TeacherEase by 8:30am. Remote students who are in grades 5-12 should be joining Google Meets at the beginning of each class period. If your student needs supplies (Chromebook, books, hotspot, etc), please contact the school as soon as possible to make arrangements to pick these items up.

Looking to start your Christmas Shopping early this year? Consider purchasing an Ohio Valley candle for those people you love. At just $17.00 a piece, multiple scents to choose from, and delivery before Christmas what could be better? See an 8th grader or any high school student to place your order. Order forms are also available in the main lobby of the school. Orders are due by November 10th-no later!

We will still have tutoring after school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15-3:15.

Huge shoutout to high school student Violet Potter and her family for their incredibly gracious donation to our FCS classroom. There will be no tutoring on Thursday October 28th. Tutoring will resume on Tuesday November 2nd after school until 4.

Congratulations to these FFA members for placing 4th at the Section 21 JV Job Interview LDE on October 20 at Carlyle High School. Congratulations to Hailey Knox for placing 5th individual overall and Tyler Bivens for placing 9th individual overall. Members prepared a cover letter and resume, and then went through an interview process and a follow up thank you letter.


Mrs. True Food 1 Class held their first bake sale. What a hit with all of the students.
This week we will set up on Thursday during lunches and outside for the parade. We will be offering, Caramel & Candied Apples, Cupcake, Cookies, Oreo Balls, Peanut Butter Ball plus much more. Stop by and see us. All items are $1.00, Caramel and Candied Apples $2.00.

Halloween Parade Information


Our Blood Drive is TODAY from 1-5:00 p.m. in the Little Gym here at school. There are walk-in appointments available or schedule online at redcrossblood.org!


Our next Blood Drive is Monday! ALL students who encourage a family member to come give will receive positive behavior points. There are tons of appointments available from 3-5 p.m.-walk-ins also welcome! Visit redcrossblood.org for specific drive details.

October 22 & 28- Foods 1 Class will be hosting a Halloween Goodies Bake Sale. Students will be able to purchase items through all lunch hours.
Goodies will be $1.00, Healthy Choice .50 cents, and Carmel Apples will be $2.00.
