2022-2023 School Registration

Odin Public School District #722 will be holding registration from 12 pm- 5 pm on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 26, 2022

  • Wednesday, July 27, 2022

Enter through the North doors off of the faculty parking lot only.

Please note that the building is still undergoing major construction. Families will only be allowed in the gym and bathroom facilities will be very limited.

All students in the Odin School District will need to register regardless of previous enrollment. It is very important that EVERY family attend registration. High school students should plan to attend with their parent/guardian to go over possible schedule changes with Mrs. Haarmann.

Students will NOT be allowed to start the school year without ALL registration forms being completed.  If you can not attend on the scheduled days, please contact the office at 775-8266.

All new students who have moved to the district, all kindergarten students, or any current student who has a different physical address since registration last year, are required to furnish proof of residency at registration.

Registration fees this year are $80 per student. Financial applications will be available at registration to determine whether registration fees may be waived. If your student is enrolled in Driver’s Education, there will be an additional $60 fee for that course (Driver’s Education fee can not be waived).

Odin School will again be participating in the CEP option which will provide breakfast and lunches for all students at no cost.

Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2022. An original birth certificate will be required for registration.

Physicals- All kindergarten, sixth grade, and ninth grade students must have physicals and shots by the first day of school. Twelfth grade students must have the meningococcal vaccine. Failure to comply will result in the student's exclusion from school until the required health forms are presented to the school.  If a medical reason prevents a student from receiving a required immunization by the first day of school, the student must present by the first day of school, an immunization schedule and a statement of the medical reasons causing the delay.  This schedule also must be signed by the doctor, registered nurse or local health department responsible for giving the immunizations.

Dental Exams- All children entering kindergarten, second grade, and sixth grade, are required to have an oral health exam.  Oral health exams must be performed by a licensed dentist and he/she must sign the Proof of School Dental Examination Form.

Eye Exams- All children entering kindergarten must also show proof of an eye examination. Examinations must be performed by a licensed optometrist or medical doctor who performs eye examinations, as specified in the Illinois Department of Public Health administrative rules. He/she shall complete and sign the Eye Examination Report form, as designated and available on the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois State Board of Education websites.
